QR → STL Generator

Create a 3D model of a QR code for 3D printing. Enter the code content, plate size and, optionally, text on top and bottom.

Corners are rounded by the radius below

A solid slab under the pattern so no light shines through the gaps between QR elements. 0.6 mm equals 3 layers at 0.2 mm layer height. Set 0 to disable.

Blank margin around the pattern. The standard is 4, but the white plate around it already serves the same purpose. Lower it to 1–2 to bring the text closer to the dots and make the dots themselves bigger.

The model is flat (no raised bumps) and consists of two bodies — black and white — for two-color printing. The archive contains qr-model.3mf — open that one: both parts are locked in place relative to each other, you only need to assign a filament to each. The separate STLs are included for compatibility: if you import those, load the second file as a PART of the same object, otherwise the slicer will drop it onto the bed on its own and break the alignment.
