Backlit sign
Your text in any font, a box for an LED strip — and a ready-to-print model. Everything is computed in your browser, the preview updates instantly.
Lettering
Up to 4 lines — one per line
Plate
Corners are rounded by the radius below
Together with the front wall — total plate thickness
Wall thickness
The one lying on the bed while printing
The side wall that holds the strip
How much plastic stays under the letters — the strip glows through it
Backlight
0 — flush with the wall; more gives a 3D effect
A thin layer stays under the letters — light glows through it
Holes
Each hole is surrounded by a full-height column inside — it seals the cavity so no light escapes.
Wall mounting
The cover is screwed to the wall with four screws and the sign sits on it. A closed cover keeps light from escaping backwards — it all goes through the lettering.
Look and backlight
Preview only: the strip never goes into the downloaded files
Each letter gets its own cell: put a separate LED in it and the colours never mix.
Affects both the strip length and the channel
One file: every part in place and in the colours you picked
How to print
The model already sits front wall down — print it as is, no supports needed.
The text is mirrored on purpose: you look at the sign from the opposite side to the one that lay on the bed.
Glue the LED strip along the inner perimeter of the rim — the light will spread evenly.
